Tune in to the sounds of the seasons at a free concert by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra at St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care, 2801 E. Morgan Avenue. The public is invited to join clients and staff for the Tuesday, December 15, performance at 10 a.m. in the Center’s spacious indoor intergenerational park.
The concert is part of the MSO’s Hometown Holiday Tour, which aims to bring the symphony to people who, due to age, special needs or economics, are unable to attend MSO performances. Symphony Assistant Conductor Yaniv Dinur will lead the MSO in a selection of crowd-pleasing holiday classics during the hour-long concert.
St. Ann Center provides education, health and wellness day services to children, the frail elderly and adults with special needs, all in one home-like setting. Through shared activities, the children learn to respect and socialize with all types of people. And older adults are motivated and delighted by the energy and friendship of youngsters.
The Center has two campuses, its original south side Stein Campus and the new Bucyrus Campus on Milwaukee’s near north side. Both campuses provide services Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Stein Campus also provides overnight respite services.
