What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

St. Ann Center is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to and collect information that you voluntarily give us by email, filling out a web form, completing an online purchase, subscribing to, and commenting on our blog.

To ensure a high level of security, we keep a valid SSL certificate on the website at all times.

Comments. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact forms. We collect and store the basic information you submit for the purpose of customer service and communications between you and St. Ann Center’s team.

Any financial information, like credit card number, and expiration date needed to complete the transaction will be processed through Blackbaud Merchant Services, our secure credit card processor. Credit Card information is not stored by St. Ann Center and is used only for processing and receipt purposes. All credit card information is entered through a secure hosted checkout page and processed via a secure online gateway.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and credit card/payment details. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Keep you updated on how your donation or participation in our event makes a difference, if you choose to opt-in to our email list.

After you make your donation or purchase, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used for future communications.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
