We feel so blessed at the center.
Our Open House Celebration, for our second location, the Bucyrus Campus was an inspirational event. 500 plus diverse attendees came together for the Ribbon Untying Ceremony in the morning to support the brand new space for a beautiful community. Countless tours were given throughout the day highlighting all the ways the campus is inclusive of the neighborhood both in decor influenced by African culture and services offered to fit the areas need. The event and entire project is possible through amazing support from our donors, new and long time community partners.
Here are some highlights of the coverage, our friends sharing their excitement during and leading up to the event.
The excitement for the Bucyrus Campus and Open House Celebration started to build with a comprehensive feature story by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about the second location and a second story with the Milwaukee Biztimes. The Journal article was shared over 250+ times across social media by both friends as well as organizations advocating for intergenerational care on a national and international scale, such as the Eisner Foundation and Generations United.

We counted down the days the last week leading up to the Open House Celebration and also received a lot of support from community partners.
The grand event was covered by WISN Channel 12 and we look forward to stories from The Milwaukee Times and The Milwaukee Community Journal.
Thank you to all the friends that made it to the event and have since wished us well!
