The WAFCC Standards of Excellence are designed to promote best practices that maximize access to health care and improve the overall quality of care for uninsured, underserved, economically and socially disadvantaged and vulnerable populations. There are 91 free and charitable clinics across the state, serving more than 60 counties.

The eight clinics receiving Standard of Excellence seals are: Muslim Community Health Clinic, Milwaukee (Gold Seal); InHealth Community Clinic, Boscobel (Silver Seal); Bucyrus Campus Medical Clinic, Milwaukee; Community Outreach Clinic, Menomonee Falls; Lake Area Free Clinic, Oconomowoc; St. Joseph’s Medical Clinic, Waukesha;  Community Connection Free Clinic, Dodgeville and HealthNet of Rock County, Janesville (all Bronze Seals).

The mission of the Bucyrus Campus Medical Clinic is to become a health care home for the north side neighborhood, with an emphasis on education, wellness and preventative medicine. Providing primary care for all ages, services range from treatment of illnesses and injuries, annual physicals and health education classes to neurological services, vaccinations and chronic disease management.
