There was an abundance of joy—along with a little romance—as St. Ann Center’s Stein and Bucyrus campuses celebrated Valentine’s Day.
Musician Jonny T-Bird performed at Stein, and the festively decorated atrium came alive as everyone danced and grooved. Clients and staff celebrated with treats, games including Name That Love Song, and a Cupid Shuffle Exercise.
Several of Stein’s Adult Day Program clients are also couples. The pairs had either been struck by cupid’s arrow while spending time together at St. Ann Center, or they had been together prior to joining the St. Ann family. The couples shared floral bouquets and exchanged Valentine’s Day cards.
At Bucyrus, activities for Valentine’s week included Twin Valentine Day, and Spread the Love Day, with handmade love/appreciation tokens for families and each other. The Valentine’s Day party featured a V Day photo booth.
Valentine’s Day may have passed, but the story of love and appreciation is one we’re writing every day.
