The Indaba Nights music series, a free weekly event every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 PM at the Indaba Band Shell, kicked off its seventh full season on June 4 with Love, Peace & Soul band. The series features accomplished Milwaukee musicians that perform soul, reggae, jazz, and old school classics.
“The Indaba Band Shell continues to provide a welcoming atmosphere to the local Milwaukee Community through the weekly Indaba Nights entertainment series,” said Gloria M. Miller, Special Events Director for St. Ann Center. “Guests can enjoy a celebration of ‘ole school’ sounds as they find fellowship with one another.”

Music and More
Last year, a donation of clothing and household items was requested by Gloria Miller to aid people who were impacted by the floods in Milwaukee. “The response was overwhelming!” she said. “Week after week, band shell attendees brought in gently used clothing and new cleaning items.
In addition, a group of volunteers assisted in decoratively organizing all donations under the bandshell overhang, allowing people to receive what they needed. “St. Ann Center is truly grateful for the community response and to the group of women who worked diligently in creating a free shopping experience for all,” Gloria said.
