St. Ann Center Announces: Open Call for Talent Show Auditions

Calling all talent! St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care is searching for rising stars of any age and all abilities to spotlight at its third annual Center Stage Talent Show. Auditions for the benefit event open on Sunday, November 1. And the winner will walk away with a check for $1,000!

Singers, dancers, actors, comedians, musicians and more from across Greater Milwaukee are invited to submit a video audition for the show as a solo, partner or group act. Audition videos can be submitted on St. Ann Center’s Facebook page at through midnight, Thursday, December 31.  The top ten performers will be selected by a panel of judges. Finalists will go on to perform at the family-friendly talent show on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the Turner Hall Ballroom.

To audition, “like” St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care on Facebook. Visit our events and “join” the Center Stage event. Then post a video of your talent to the event wall. Not on Facebook? Videos can be emailed to and we will post them on your behalf. Videos of past performances as well as those created specifically for Center Stage will be accepted. Performances must be appropriate for all ages. The ten finalists will be announced on Friday, January 15, 2016. A total of $1,500 in prizes will be awarded. First prize is $1,000 and the Fan Favorite Award, determined by the audience, is $500.

Last year’s talent show raised $4,000 for St. Ann Center’s Care Champions program which helps provide health and educational services for children, adults, the frail elderly and people with special needs, along with support for their caregivers. A non-profit agency, St. Ann Center enhances the lives of its clients through art, music and intergenerational activities at both its Stein Campus on Milwaukee’s south side and the newly opened Bucyrus Campus on the near north side. The Center Stage Talent Show celebrates the extraordinary gifts found in people of all ages and abilities in a night of entertainment and inspiration.

Tickets to the talent show are half price during the audition period – $10 for adults and $5 for children. Half-price tickets can be purchased online. For more about auditioning for Center Stage Talent Show or to get involved with this special event, contact Cathy Feldkamp at (414) 977-5028 or
