Three’s the charm

When you’re 3, learning and having fun is one and the same…at least at St. Ann Center. Our creative curriculum celebrates the uniqueness of each child by building social, emotional, thinking and physical skills and exploring language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies and the arts.

Our 3 year old reading corner

Here’s what your child will learn:

  • Social-emotional skills. Shares and plays cooperatively with other children; balances needs and rights of self and others
  • Literacy. Knows the alphabet; spells and writes names
  • Mathematics. Explores and describes spatial relationships and shapes
  • The Arts. Explores the visual arts; learns colors
  • Science and technology. Uses scientific inquiry skills; explores the Earth’s environment and properties of objects and materials

Support from generous people, like you, creates this joyful intergenerational community.

Intergenerational activities include:

  • Art activities with adults to socialize and enjoy each other’s company
  • Music and socials with adults in our specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care unit (singing, dancing and laughing)

Raising children is a team sport, and St. Ann Center is definitely a part of our team. Thank you so much for getting Maxwell and our entire family (especially me) ready for the start of 3K. Maxwell is over the moon about taking the St. Ann Center bus to school and back in the afternoon to join his friends in the Dragonfly classroom. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to know our son is in such good hands.”
