St. Ann Center Jewelry and Chili Sale Is in Good Taste
Add some spice and sparkle to your life at the Warm Your Heart Jewelry and Chili Sale on Saturday, November 21, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care-Stein Campus, 2801 East Morgan Avenue. Shoppers can select from hundreds of vintage, heirloom and costume jewelry pieces, along with one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings designed and handcrafted by Sr. Edna Lonergan, president of St. Ann Center.
A chill-chasing array of homemade chili choices will be available at the Seasons of Life Cafe. Whether you like it mild, medium or hot, there’s a bowl with your name on it. In addition, St. Ann Center’s Indoor Winter Farmers Market, held every Saturday through April, will be in full swing, with vendors selling organic produce and meats, jams, jellies and baked goods, handmade arts and crafts, essential oils, soaps, lotions and seasonal decor.
St. Ann Center provides a unique blend of intergenerational health and educational day services to both children and adults, all under one home-like roof. All proceeds from the jewelry and chili sale go to programs for the frail elderly and adults with special needs served at St. Ann Center’s Stein Campus on the south side and the new Bucyrus Campus on Milwaukee’s near north side.
