The Shared-Site Replication Summit–presented by St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin–will provide in-depth training on how to replicate St. Ann Center’s world-renowned model: a shared-site that provides intergenerational day services for children and adults, an overnight respite center, wellness center and aquatic center serving the entire community. The 1.5-day summit will be informative and thought-provoking, opening with a keynote from Donna Butts, executive director of Generations United. Hear from speakers with first-hand experience in St. Ann Center’s own successful replication project. Topic areas include: conducting a community needs assessment, developing your architectural design, exploring government funding and running a dynamic fundraising campaign. The event culminates with St. Ann Center’s president and founder Sister Edna Lonergan leading design-focused tours of both the original Stein Campus and the new Bucyrus Campus.

Comments from past attendees

“More than 9 years ago I attended a seminar that you led on how to start an intergenerational daycare. I took everything you said to heart, brought it back to Oregon and launched Gentog with my friend Murt. We are still small, but we just celebrated on ninth anniversary, and the local news station did a little story on us. I’m sharing it with you, as you are the one that planted the idea in my heart.” – Marcie Jones, Founder of Gentog –
