Bucyrus Campus Clinic Honored by Heart Association

By February 19, 2018No Comments1 min read

The St. Ann Center Medical Clinic-Bucyrus Campus has been honored by the American Heart Association (AHA) for helping Milwaukeeans control their blood pressure. A special recognition event will be held Monday, Feb. 26, at 2:30 p.m., at the Bucyrus Campus, 2450 W. North Ave.

The clinic is part of Target: BP, a program co-sponsored by the AHA and the American Medical Association to improve blood pressure control and build a healthier nation. Timothy Nikolai, senior community health director with the AHA, will present the award to clinic co-directors Stephanie Ghojallu, Family Practice Nurse Practitioner; and Paul Nausieda M.D.

“We make it a priority to ensure our patients know and understand their blood pressure numbers,” Ghojallu said. “If high blood pressure is a concern, we work with them to find the most effective solution—whether it’s medication or a healthier lifestyle.”

The primary focus of St. Ann Center’s medical clinic is on comprehensive care and health education. Unlike a walk-in clinic or urgent care, this clinic serves as a healthcare home for the neighborhood, with an emphasis on wellness and preventative medicine. A member of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, the clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. For information or to make an appointment, call 414-210-2430.
