End of Summer Intergenerational Party
St. Ann Center's own 'Danny Boy' wins Golden Idol!
Danny Crivello, a fedora-wearing, guitar-playing, soulful-singing 63-year-old from St. Francis, wowed an audience of 200 and a panel of judges to win top prize in a senior talent show Tuesday at the Washington Park Senior Center.
Milwaukee’s “Golden Idol,” a senior talent show, saw its final competitions Tuesday at the Washington Park Senior Center. Thirty acts tried out for the competition, and 10 made the finals. Among the finalists were line dancers, tap dancers, show dancers, vocalists, a synthesizer keyboardist, banjo player and a chorus. Participants had to be at least 50 years old and a participant in any Milwaukee County Senior Center. To read more abour the event click here.
